• Account information: Name, email address, and password provided during registration. If you sign in via Google OAuth, we also collect your Google profile picture and email from Google's OAuth response.
• Subscription and payment information: Subscription plan, payment method, activation status, and payment proof documents you upload.
• Usage data: Browser type, IP address, pages visited, and interaction data with our platform. This is collected via server logs and our service infrastructure.
• Push notification subscriptions: Browser push subscription endpoint data required to deliver real-time stock pick notifications.
• Portfolio data: Stocks and positions you add to your personal portfolio within the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

• To create and maintain your account and deliver subscription access
• To send push notifications with stock picks and platform updates
• To process subscription activation after payment confirmation
• To send transactional emails (account creation, email verification, payment receipts, subscription updates)
• To operate, improve, and secure our platform
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies & Tracking

AlphaPick uses session cookies to maintain authenticated sessions and basic analytics to understand platform usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.

We do not sell your data. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We use third-party services (hosting, email delivery, analytics) that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.

If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (e.g., payment records for tax compliance, which we retain for a minimum of 8 years as per Indian tax law).

These include HTTPS encryption for all traffic, hashed passwords, and access controls on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
